As you know, I was moved recently and my new house had a breakfast nook area .... but guess what, I only have a table and I put it on the dinning area. After my moving, one of my friends gave me 3 new "old chairs" that she had. They are antiques with more than 104 years old. They are beautiful. I love them!!!!
Last Thursday, I returned to my home and I can't wait to start with "TS shooping". During my first day "thrifting", I found the following pieces ( see below).
Finally, a table to used with the old chairs. Here is the table before,
And now,
What do you think about my last makeover??? And the best is the price only...... $15.00.
Also, I found two new crocks ($3.00 and $8.00 respectively), a candlestick from Williamsburg Pottery ($2.89) , a old Ball Jar ($4.00), a wood bowl rack ($2.39) and a pineapple for 49 cents.
Also, I want to say thank you to Kareen and Vicki, for the first giveaway that I won and my Textile swap goodies respectively. I need to say sorry to you due to my pictures came too late, due to my vacations. First, I receive this beautiful wool on cotton pillow from Kareen http://thepaintedquilt.
And this is the gift box that I received from Char's Textile Swap. My box arrived on time , but I was out ( until this week, I was thinking in the goodies inside the box ). I was so surprised by the beautiful things that I received from my swap partner Vicki Hardcastle, she is a Fiber artist from Hardcastle Folk Art & Eureka Springs Rug Hooking Camp, http://thehogscaldholler.blogspot.com.
Thank you so much!!!! Can't wait to display my new goodies around my house.
Sorry for the long post, I hope you enjoy it...
Bye, bye and see you soon girls,
Evelyn
Your table looks great and I love those chairs. As for the TS finds... you definitely found quite a few prim goodies. I can see that wooden shelf type thing having a great prim makeover.

ReplyDeleteGreat finds and treasured goodies too. Such a lucky girl!
Hugs,

Love all your pics of your finds. I love heading out to all the TS and antique shops looking for ideas and/or bargins.
ReplyDeleteWe have had several shops close in our area lately. I guess I will have to find some new places.
