Hi prim girls,
My Christmas Giveaway is officially closed and the winner was already selected. First of all, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone, your participation was so appreciated. Thanks for taking time and left me a comment. I love to make dolls and I hope that the winner will enjoy this prize as much I enjoyed making it. The surprise gift was finished but we need to wait for the winner pictures.... (LOL)
The winner is Kindra . Congratulations!
As you know , I am a Caribbean girl and we celebrate " Dia de los Reyes Magos" or Three Kings Day. This celebration comes from the word Epiphany which means "revelation" is based on the biblical story that tells of the Magi or Three Kings (Caspar (or Gaspar) Melchior and Balthasar ) who saw a bright star on the night Christ was born and followed it to Bethlehem. There they found the Christ child and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. The legendary visit would later gave rise to the custom of gift giving at Christmas on the Feast of the Epiphany, today traditionally observed on January 6. The Epiphany remains the official end of the season's "Twelve Days of Christmas" counting from Christmas evening on December 25 to the Epiphany on January 6. In Spain and the Spanish speaking countries, the tradition had always been to observe Christmas Day as a solemn religious occasion, reserving Three Kings Day for partying and exchanging gifts. However, in many Hispanic cultures like my island Puerto Rico gifts can be given on both days and we had a double celebration. Is for this reason , that I decide to select a SECOND WINNER in this giveaway. I used the same participants to select the Three Kings Giveaway Winner but I selected the person today, I will not wait until January 6th. And the winner will obtain this Primitive Skinny Snowman. Well, here are the pictures of the Second Giveaway ...
