Hi prim girls,
Weather Channel shows that we will have some snow showers today with no accumulation. But apparently, they failed and we woke up with this and continuous ..... Love it!!!
But this snow changed all my chores for today, I had plans to start some makeovers of these pieces that I found at the GW. I found this table for $4. 59 including tax.
But the better of it , is this..... It is a flip top table/bench...... Great !
My next find for $4.00 is ........
This prim shelf (love the color), that only need cleaning and a beautiful display on it. It cost me $6.60, not to bad for a beautiful shelf ready to use.
Also, I found some this....
Snowman plate for 50 cents
Tin Candle Holder ( from Irvin's) for 79 cents.
I forgot to show you this a wooden bread box for less than $5 and a set of Santa's from Enesco for $2.19 .
Bye, bye and see you soon,
Evelyn
OH, I LOVE THAT TABLE!!!!...GREAT FINDS!
ReplyDeleteawesome chest/table----love it! you had a really good day at goodwill. And it looks like you are having the same kind of winter as we are. it will get better......
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome finds! That table is primtastic! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful treasures!
ReplyDeleteAwesome finds. Our GW's have been very limited lately. Although with all that I have in my attic to redo, this may be a blessing. I love the table/chest. I can't wait to see all of your treasures redone. Have fun.
ReplyDelete~Melissa~
Great finds, i am loving that table bench!
ReplyDeleteI love the table bench! What wonderful finds!
ReplyDeleteYou take great photos. The one with the bare trees against the snow would make a very nice framed piece!
ReplyDeleteWow, you sure did find some super things.
I appreciate the design of the table/chair. Our colonial ancestors sure did know how to use a piece of furniture efficently didn't they, functionality and style. I guess that was because the first homes were so small. I am just so awed that you found that one for so little money! I can't wait to see what you decided to do with it.
Enjoy your weekend!!!
Oh my goodness! I can't believe you got that table bench for only $4.95. What a steal! I'm on the lookout for another wooden breadbox myslef. They are pretty scarce around my part of the world. Sure hope I find one as cheap as you did. Love the shelf. It is perfect the way it is.
ReplyDeleteGreat shopping!
AMY
Oh my goodness, you found some treasures. I can't wait to see the redo on these!
ReplyDeleteLots of great goodies, looking forward to seeing your make overs.
ReplyDeleteDebbie

Janet

ReplyDeleteTake care,
Kris
Great Finds!! Love the table/bench!! I found a 3 tier wood display tray at our GW for $6.00 and it was painted black with sanded areas of mustard showing through. It's nice to find some pieces that we don't have to redo...but redo's sure are fun!!
ReplyDeleteWe got about 12 inches of snow here after we got some more today that they weren't calling for.
Take care and stay warm,
~Cindy~
What great finds! Your table bench looks like it could be cedar? It will look great redone. I really like those santas you got too. Have fun with your makeovers and I will be standing by for pics of the results! Like your Angel in the header too!

ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures are beautiful! I love snow days because that's how I justify putting aside my mundane house chores and work on my many projects I have going.
I always say I'm going to hit GW, but I never make the time. Not any more! After seeing your purchases at amazing prices-- I'm heading there next week! I can't believe you got that neat table/bench for only $4.59!! Wow! Good job on your finds!
